Each of these mala necklaces is made of 108 handcrafted Mala beads strung together with a red tassel. Traditionally used in Buddhist meditation, mala beads are used for counting all types of mantras, prayer, and meditations. When not in use, these beads are traditionally worn around the left wrist as a reminder to enrich the mind. The tassel marks the middle of the beads for counting. As a sign of respect, please do not let your mala beads touch the ground.
